Gabor Maté in Warsaw: an evening about trauma and healing

On Monday, 15 March 2027, Dr. Gabor Maté, a Canadian physician and bestselling author, will come to Warsaw. The event “An Evening with Gabor Maté: The Myth of Normal” will take place at EXPO XXI (Hall 4, 12/14 Prądzyńskiego St.). Doors will open at 18:00, and the lecture with a Q&A session will run from 19:00 to 21:30.

For years, Maté has been studying the links between trauma, stress, addictions, and physical illness. The evening refers to his book “The Myth of Normal,” in which he describes how modern culture affects our health. The physician has been awarded the Order of Canada.

The lecture will be in English. Simultaneous interpretation into Polish will be available for an additional fee (67 PLN plus fees). Tickets are sold via Eventbrite, and the organizer is Genius Productions. Seats are not numbered, and tickets are non-refundable.
