BigThings 2.0. Ukrainian creators met in Warsaw
On Saturday, 10 October, the second edition of the BigThings event was held in Warsaw, bringing together Ukrainian online creators and members of the Ukrainian community.
According to information provided to the Nowiny Wschodnie editorial team by TransferGo, nearly 150 guests took part in the meeting, including more than 100 Ukrainian influencers.
One of the invited artists was MONOKATE, known for her appearance at the Eurovision Song Contest.
The event also had a social dimension. Its organizers decided to support an initiative aimed at young people who, despite the ongoing war, continue their studies at Ukrainian educational institutions.
TransferGo and UNITED24 support education in Ukraine
The BigThings 2.0 meeting took place in connection with the “Transfers that connect” campaign, run by TransferGo in cooperation with the Ukrainian platform UNITED24.
The goal of the initiative is to support young Ukrainians studying at Ukrainian colleges.
As part of the campaign, TransferGo declared that by 29 October 2026 it will additionally donate 0.2% of the value of every transfer made to a Ukrainian IBAN account to the “Education and science” area of the UNITED24 platform.
This means that sending money to Ukraine via TransferGo during the campaign period is also intended to support the educational initiative at the same time.
The Ukrainian community in Poland is getting involved in providing help
The event in Warsaw showed that the activity of Ukrainian online creators in Poland can be linked not only to entertainment and social media, but also to raising awareness of aid initiatives.
The involvement of influencers in the TransferGo and UNITED24 campaign is intended to help spread information about the fundraising effort to a wider audience.
The campaign will run until 29 October 2026.
